Clean Energy States Alliance: Partnering to Reduce Energy Burden: A Michigan Community Solar and Weatherization Pilot

A new case study by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) highlights the collaborative effort between Michigan’s energy office, local community action agencies, and utilities to develop three separate pilot programs. The case study, “Partnering to Reduce Energy Burden: A Michigan Community Solar and Weatherization Pilot” (https://www.cesa.org/resource-library/resource/partnering-to-reduce-energy-burden-michigan/), profiles the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE’s) efforts and highlights lessons learned. Michigan’s work can serve as a model for other state agencies, community partners, and utilities seeking to maximize the impact of existing weatherization programs. This webinar and accompanying case study are second in a series of case studies highlighting innovative models of collaboration between state energy agencies and community-based organizations.
