The Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration will host a Climate Challenge Earth Day Event celebrating transit agencies that are taking bold actions to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions from public transportation to support President Biden’s greenhouse gas reduction and climate equity goals. The event will include speakers from various agencies and a presentation of eight award categories to 10 transit agencies.
