Washington Gas is offering a rebate program for Maryland residential customers. If customers purchase qualifying water heaters or dryers, they can save up to $460 on heaters and $90 on dryers. A federal tax credit is available for certain Energy Star certified natural gas water heaters with info available from Energy Star. Additionally, if customers are Montgomery County residents, they can also receive a tax credit from Montgomery County.
