This is a management-level technical and administrative position responsible for DoE’s grant and contract administration and coordination. Oversight includes providing guidance and instruction into the regulatory requirements associated with grants, contracts, procurements, determinations, and other source agreements (MOUs, Riders, etc.) and advice on complex purchasing actions associated with the acquisition of goods and services needed and required by the Department. This work requires considerable knowledge of contract and grants management and administration principles and practices involving the preparation of specifications and technical requirements, understanding compliance requirements, pricing and performance evaluations, evaluating data and report preparation, researching funding opportunities, and various solicitation methodologies, milestone plans, and systems workflows. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Associate Director, Strategic Services Division (SSD).
