The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) presents this four-day virtual workshop to learn about the latest developments in electric vehicle technologies. As the nation moves towards net-zero emissions, the widespread adoption of electric vehicles will play a critical role in decarbonizing the transportation sector. Ongoing technology improvements continue to make electric vehicles (EVs) a more affordable and practical option, but many challenges remain to meet the needs of all users and to ensure that manufacturing supply chains and the electric system can support this large-scale transformation.
