The Symposium will focus on the challenges of hybrid and electric vehicles to traffic incident management first responses and practitioners. Attendees will learn about 1) challenges in dealing with traffic incidents involving hybrid and electric vehicles, 2) impacts on critical infrastructure, and 3) current and new tactics used by responders in these events. The Symposium will also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about what efforts are underway to better equip and train personnel for hybrid and electric vehicle response.
