The notice of funding for the FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grants discussed at COG’s July 28 Joint CEEPC and CBPC meeting has officially been released. FEMA provides federal funds for the BRIC grant program to states, local communities, tribes, and territories for mitigation activities. Communities and project partners can click on the link for more general information about the funding opportunity, but should coordinate with state agencies (HSEMA, VDEM, MEMA) this fall on submissions due to FEMA on January 28, 2022.
