Funding Alert: MEA Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainable Energy Program

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) FY25 Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainable Energy Program (“Maryland RISE Program,” “the Program”) will provide grants that will help fund improvements to Maryland’s electricity and related power infrastructure. Funds will be available to Maryland electricity infrastructure operators, fuel suppliers, and other utility industry stakeholders. MEA anticipates that this program will be federally funded by Section 40101(d) of President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, “Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid.”
