The work of this position involves writing, producing, editing content for social media posts, websites, digital media and video, and hardcopy materials, writing articles, press releases, and/or planning and implementing public education and outreach campaigns. Work requires the exercise of creativity and independent judgment, working cooperatively with professionals across the City to assist in public outreach for their projects and programs. The position in the Office of Climate Action will work closely with the City’s Office of Communications & Public Information with latitude for independent action.
