The Electric Vehicle Planner position serves as the City of Alexandria’s principal planner and program manager supporting planning and implementation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and increasing the adoption of zero emission and electric vehicles. The Electric Vehicle Planner leads the development and implementation of inclusive and equitable planning, programs and policies that target the reduction of transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions to achieve the goals of the Environmental Action Plan 2040, Alexandria Mobility Plan (AMP), and Energy and Climate Change Action Plan (ECCAP).
