The Stormwater Utility Manager/Civil Engineer IV position in the City of Alexandria’s Department of Transportation and Environmental Services (T&ES) manages the day-to-day implementation of the Stormwater Utility (SWU) Fee program and assists in the development of the Stormwater Management Utility 10-Year Plan as the operating and capital funding source for the City’s Stormwater Management Program, which includes the stormwater capacity projects under the Flood Action Alexandria initiative to provide flooding mitigation to protect people and property in the City of Alexandria for recent intense flooding events due to climate change.
