Job Alert: City of Alexandria Sustainability Coordinator

The work of this position involves understanding, updating, tracking, and implementing Alexandria’s Environmental Action Plan 2040, and coordinating across the City of Alexandria departments to ensure the smooth and effective development of programs for Alexandria residents and businesses. The Sustainability Coordinator will develop programs designed to incentivize and encourage decarbonization for Alexandria businesses. This position will also assist with the development of the City’s GHG inventory, and development of content on the City dashboard, and, along with other Office of Climate Action Staff, serves as a liaison to the City’s Environmental Policy Commission.
