This position will actively engage the Alexandria community on issues of climate justice, promotion of programs, and more. As the Office of Climate Action’s primary community engagement expert, you will help create awareness and outreach campaigns for a wide variety of programs and topics, including electric vehicles, energy-efficient homes, promotion of incentives and rebates, and more. You will also develop community engagement strategies to engage the community on major climate justice issues such as heat vulnerability and energy burden.
