As a member of the Community Planning and Programs division within the Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination (OEEC), the Community Specialist provides support to the Community Planning and Programs team in the promotion of environmental and energy awareness and engagement in support of the Board of Supervisors Environmental Vision and Operational Energy Strategy. This position supports the management and implementation of the Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan (CECAP) and the “Resilient Fairfax” climate adaptation and resilience planning initiative.
