This position will be instrumental to developing and administering programs and other initiatives that help deploy programs with an emphasis on reducing energy burdens and greenhouse gas emissions, focusing on energy efficiency and electrification. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of programs, including the next iteration of MEA’s Low to Moderate Income Energy Efficiency (LMI EE) program as well as other related efforts. Collectively this is MEA’s largest program in its current portfolio and supports community organizations delivering improvements to low and moderate-income Marylanders, including those in communities that have been underserved or have been historically disadvantaged. The successful candidate should bring a passion for energy, environmental justice and be ready and able to roll up their sleeves and implement real-world efforts to improve energy equity and environmental justice in Maryland.
