This position will provide innovative and complex technical building support to the BEPS program, give expert guidance to building owners on upgrade projects, lend technical expertise to the County and building owners, establish program procedures and guidance, and oversee technical review compliance tools within the BEPS program. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of the principles, policies, practices, regulations, and codes which apply to the development and implementation of building energy performance programs and energy performance requirements for commercial and multifamily buildings—as well as background in estimated saving measurement methods, cost effectiveness testing, energy management and benchmarking software, and general energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies.
