Prince George’s County Climate Stewards Academy is an education and stewardship training program that will support local climate preparedness while building the capacity of communities. The goal is to identify, train, and empower climate stewards to serve as community climate champions and lead local efforts in climate adaptation and resilience. These training cohorts will learn climate adaptation and resilience strategies, establish community connections, and gain the skills necessary to assess their communities and lead implementation projects. Participants in this program will be required to complete a final climate stewardship project and will be asked to provide feedback on how to improve future program offerings.
