The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) is recruiting individuals to serve on its Air and Climate Public Advisory Committee (ACPAC). COG is looking for residents in the metropolitan Washington region with interest, knowledge, and expertise in air and climate issues to serve on the committee. ACPAC advises COG’s policy committees – the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) and the Climate, Energy and Environment Policy Committee (CEEPC) – on air quality, climate, and energy issues.
ACPAC RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN CALENDAR:
- Thursday, January 19, 2023: Deadline for ACPAC Interest Form
- Monday, January 23, 2023: Interested applicants invited to attend first meeting of the year
- February 9, 2023: MWAQC Executive Committee appoints new ACPAC members
- March 20, 2023: ACPAC meeting with new members
